Interim Youth Coordinator

Ebenezer Baptist Church (Saskatoon, SK)

Ebenezer Baptist Church (EBC) in Saskatoon, SK, is seeking a dynamic, adept, and godly Interim Youth Coordinator who has discerned a call to vocational ministry. This is a maternity-leave role at 0.75 FTE (30 hours/week) with the potential of being a 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week) as a ministry leadership role within Ebenezer Youth, working in close partnership with the Youth Pastor and the Youth Ministry Assistant.

Our mission as a church is to point people to Jesus and help them to know and follow him.

Our vision is to establish and multiply multi-ethnic and multi-generational gatherings of Jesus followers who practically and authentically live their faith in every part of their lives and challenge others to do the same. We do this through a process called discipleship. We define a disciple as someone who abides in Christ and takes on the character, ways, and mission of Jesus and helps others to do the same.

Ebenezer Youth is a growing youth ministry that seeks to help anyone who walks into our community follow Jesus for life. We are a community-minded, outreach-focused, and forward-thinking youth movement that seeks God in prayer for spiritual discernment and ministry direction. At Ebenezer Youth, we place high value on the next generation of leaders of the Church, our youth of today. Our weekly attendance between all youth initiatives is 230-320 youth, supported by 80 ongoing weekly Jr and Sr youth leaders (on a given week, we have 350-400 people combined on our youth nights).

The Interim Youth Coordinator serves as a key leader alongside the Youth Pastor, leading Life Groups, developing and caring for leaders, overseeing ministry programming beyond youth nights, and taking ownership of the special events that shape our ministry year. Candidates must be committed to discipling others and gifted in developing leaders, with the capacity to move initiatives from planning through to execution.
