Davidson Community Bible Church (Davidson, SK)
The Associate Pastor will assist in leadership and oversight of the church and its various ministries, which will include leadership of our weekly youth ministry (12-20 kids from the community).
Status: Full Time
Compensation: Annual Starting Salary of $42,000; 3-weeks paid vacation each year.

Requirements
A mature believer in Jesus Christ who wholeheartedly affirms our church’s Statement of Beliefs (see website: davidsoncbc.ca).
A person who meets the qualifications for an Elder/Overseer found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9
A willingness to work together with others in the church and be accountable to the leadership body of the church (Elders & Pastor).
Must meet our Safety Policy requirements (Criminal record check, screening, etc.)
Must have a heart for all people to come to know Jesus and grow in Christlikeness.
Youth Ministry Responsibilities (approx. 16-20 hours per week)
Plan, organize, and lead weekly youth events on a weeknight from Sep. to May.
Communicate with youth and parents on a weekly basis about what’s happening for youth and any pertinent info for youth who are coming (via text message)
Maintain current attendance, registration, and emergency contact info for youth
Build relationships with youth in the community outside of youth events (as time allows) to evangelize, disciple, or mentor as suits the relationship
Encourage, recruit, and equip church members to volunteer in youth ministry.
Inform and encourage youth who attend to participate in church events, services, and ministries.
Order and purchase ministry supplies as needed from the youth ministry budget.
Other Pastoral Responsibilities (16-20 hours per week)
The associate pastor will serve as an Elder alongside our current Pastor/Elders.
Assist with preaching and providing leadership a few Sunday mornings each year when the other Pastor is away
Assist with welcome, announcements, prayer, Scripture reading, and serving the Lord’s Table from time to time.
The remaining weekly time for this position will be fit to the candidate’s gifting and abilities as well as the other ministry needs of the church. Some of the other needs of the church currently include administrative leadership, worship leadership, and pastoral care.
