Brian and Jessica have been serving with Baptist General Conference and Africa Inland Mission since 2014. Brian serves on an “innovation team” with teammates from various Christian mission agencies. The team takes on challenges and opportunities identified by missionaries and mission organizations to move ministry forward in new directions.
Have you ever had a busy week at work? I’m sure we all have. How about a busy year? Likely we’ve all had those too. What about a busy career? Yes, it seems that’s what careers are like! Our many tasks and responsibilities can sometimes prevent us from exploring new opportunities or solving challenges. In times like this, an innovation team can help.
Innovation teams put their energy and expertise full time into developing new initiatives and solving problems in organizations. This approach helps innovation and problem solving to happen even in busy work environments. Brian serves as a Trainer with just such a multi-organizational innovation team. His main tasks include: Needs Assessment, Creative Problem Solving, Training Content Development, and Training Delivery.
