Scott and Nancy Campbell have been missionaries in French Quebec since 1987. They currently lead the French-speaking Assemblée chrétienne in Vimont, Laval, Quebec.
Having a desire to learn about intercultural missions, the Campbells spent the Summer of 1985 with BGC USA missionaries in Mexico City. While in Mexico, they heard about BGC Canada’s desire to begin a work in Quebec. After returning home from Mexico and sensing God's call to Quebec, the Campbells contacted BGC Canada. At the 1986 BGCC Annual Celebration in Coquitlam, BC, Scott and Nancy were officially commissioned to church plant in French Quebec. After raising prayer and financial support throughout BGCC churches, the Campbells arrived in Laval, QC in early 1987. After in-depth language studies, making contacts in the French community and hosting a French-speaking home Bible study, the Assemblée chrétienne was launched in October of 1989.
