“Why Women’s Ministries?” is a question I have been asked often in the past couple of months. Does it continue to serve a purpose in 2017 or is it simply a model that has lost its meaning? Shouldn’t women simply participate in church services, small groups and various ministries along with the rest of the body, rather than needing a ministry specifically for women? And what about the women who don’t feel like they belong in typical women’s ministry groups? Women are too busy to attend planned events; maybe we should disband Women’s Ministry teams?
