Speaker Profile: Janice Gutierrez is a Speaker, Writer, Listener & Leadership Guru.
A native Californian, and a faithful Aggie, Janice graduated from UC Davis with a double major in Political Science and Mass Communications, and later went on to earn a Masters in Theology at Fuller Seminary, with an emphasis in mentoring and spiritual growth. This education background was first applied extensively in media sales, then developed and transferred in focus as a pastor at a large church for many years. Now, it is being applied in the small non-profit world as Executive Director of Lifesprings International. In her work with Lifesprings, Janice specializes in cross-cultural leadership training for international women to impact their communities for the greater good. This work has her public speaking, contextualizing training, & traveling abroad for many weeks out of the year but with her home base delightfully in Livermore, California from where, thanks to technology, she can meet with her international staff regularly when not needed in face-to-face situations.

Janice is a trained leader in “Conflict Transformation through Integrative Complexity Thinking” with the University of Cambridge and integrates the training into all aspects of her international leadership training programs. She is also part of a “Transforming Community” cohort with Ruth Haley Barton’s Transforming Center.
