Naaman & Lorae are doing linguistic/translation work in the Solomon Islands under a networking agreement with Wycliffe Bible Translators Canada.
Clear & Simple Media: Tom Castor is the founding partner of the Clear and Simple Media Group. Clear & Simple Media is a ministry that is involved in research, translation, writing, content development, field testing and distribution of global English language discipleship materials for use by the grassroots church movement in SE Asia and around the world. One of the primary goals is to identify, disciple and train writers who will create a catalog of materials that are linguistically simple, theologically clear and biblically faithful.
Connie's ministry is three-faceted. She is involved in church planting with “The Meeting Place”; Leadership Development with the GBU, and encouraging mission lifestyle with Mission-Net. Connie has been serving in Portugal since 1998.
Emily has been approved for mid-term (up to three years service) personnel as a videographer to assist fellow Global Ministries Personnel in telling their personal and ministries stories.
Richard and Jocelyn Jelsma are serving in Kigali, Rwanda with Community Health Evangelism (CHE). They work alongside local people to build, to train others in CHE, and to serve… with the purpose of being a part of bringing the Kingdom and reign of God which redeems, restores and reconciles the lost, wounded and broken. Richard serves as a project manager and Jocelyn is a registerd midwife - working with a team to provide prenatal and postpartum care to people living in a slum.
Gordon and Anna are serving in Honduras, South America where they are developing, discipling, equipping and encouraging pastors and church leaders, as well as assisting with care and ministry to “the least of these” in cooperation with the ministry of "Manos Extendidas" (Extended Hands).
Brian & Jessica serve in Uganda, (east) Africa under a networking agreement with AIM. Brian works under the local agency Global Link, seeking to mobilize, train and send out Ugandan missionaries. They also seek to assist the church in understanding their responsibility in missions. Brian and Jessica began their long-term service in Uganda in 2014.
Laura Serves in Tucumán, Argentina discipling the next generation of leaders. She works with ABUA (Intervarsity), her local church and individuals. She is also involved in mission mobilization. Laura has been serving long-term in Argentina since 2007.
The vision of Simply Mobilizing International (SMI) is to mobilize the whole body of Christ for meaningful involvement in the world Christian movement. Designing and providing mobilization products and programs as well as facilitating development of well-trained mobilizers is its mission. This is all done in the context of a movement that is visionary, organized and oriented to serving the whole Body of Christ.
Scott Campbell's ministry focus in on the French Quebecois who are still only 1% evengelical Chrisitian. He is working with Assemblee Chretienne Church where their young pastor recently had to resign due to health issues. Scott's role is to serve as a fulltime Transitional Missionary Pastor, assisting in moving the church to the next level and helping them find God's long-term choice of a young Quebecois pastor to lead them.
Randy and Margo serve as recruiters, trainers and educators and head up the BGCC Muslim Ministry Team. They are located in Canada, reach out to Muslims around them, and serve BGCC churches by assisting their Global Ministries/Mission Teams with evaluation, focusing, developing and more. They also head up a number of Short-term teams doing outreach in Canada and overseas.
The Salkelds serve under a networking agreement with Wycliffe Canada. Valerie serves as a leader in the ministry of prayer and spiritual direction. Her team has been growing and their role is increasing. Valerie also facilitates prayer retreats and women's ministries. Laird serves in a voluntary capacity assisting with various communications projects. Their main goal is to promote, inform and educate Canadians about the need for Bible translation. Reaching the world’s unreached involves having God’s Word available to them. The Salkelds joined Wycliffe and the BGCC in 2001.
