Trying To Do Too Much, Too Soon, With Too Little

That didn’t work. Ooops, that didn’t go like I thought it would. That reaction hurts. Really, they said that? They did that? Why? Hey, I am pastor/leader around here. I thought that meant something. I think he/she/they have the problem, not me. We could go on phrasing reactive scenar...

Grow...or Die!

Grow...or Die!

Wow, that’s pretty direct. Blunt is maybe more accurate. I’ve heard the statement used in business contexts and it invites listeners to grow their organizations. Usually “growth” involves revenues, or contacts, or production, or sales in general.

The mission of the School of Women in Ministry is to train leaders to advance God’s kingdom through the church by motivating, equipping and activating women to minister effectively to women, the church and the world. Most church women’s ministries leaders have little or no training for the job. As a result, they often sense a need for further training and mentoring. However, because of family responsibilities, time and financial constraints, many women in leadership are unable to seek out formal Bible college or seminary training. If the church is to fulfill Christ’s mission, women want and need excellent training to increase their competence and confidence in ministry. This school seeks to provide an affordable, accessible and applicable way to meet these needs.
