           Remember the old quote that was meant to be funny, but too often true:  Why is there so much month, left at the end of the money?”  How often have you thought/said that?  How often have most of us experienced that?

          

          In his book, Pastor’s at Great Risk, H.B. London & N. B. Wiseman gives the 10 top hazards of ministry.  One of those top 10 has to do with financial struggles.  Churches and clergy families today are being affected by the economic dry times, just as much as other families and institutions.  Giving in many churches is down and costs keep going up.

   WHAT IF…..by Linda Ozirney

Jenna spread the freshly ironed linen tablecloth on the table and then carefully centered the silver candle holders that she and Paul had received as a wedding gift. This dinner was going to be beautiful! Jenna loved to have a day off from work and be able to spend extended time in the kitchen cooking. And it just so happened that the kids were off to a birthday party that evening so they would be alone for a romantic dinner.
